Our Story
Emeraude International LLC was founded in 2015 by the Kouassi family, who immigrated to Georgia with a dream of sharing the rich culinary traditions of West Africa with their new community. What started as a small shop has grown into the premier African international supermarket in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Our founders, Marie and Joseph Kouassi, recognized the need for authentic African ingredients and products that reminded fellow immigrants of home while introducing new flavors to adventurous food lovers. Today, we serve thousands of customers from diverse backgrounds who appreciate quality, authenticity, and exceptional service.
Located in the heart of Roswell at 675 Mansell Road, our 8,000 square foot store houses the largest selection of African foods, spices, and specialty items in North Georgia. From traditional seasonings to fresh produce, frozen delicacies to beauty products, we are your one-stop destination for all things African.
